I'm Joshua. I pay homeless people to clean the streets. The city won't move fast enough — so we are the program.
$30133 people have said "we are the program." The math works if 1% of LA shows up. Be one of them.
$3 million doesn't fix LA. It funds hundreds of hires from local shelters, federal HAZWOPER certifications, weekly wages, PPE, and housing placement support — by next month, not next fiscal year. No city council. No committee. No five-year plan. The streets get clean. People get paid. People get housed.
I run a sanitation business in LA. I started Sanitize Uplift because I kept seeing the same gap: the city was spending billions on homelessness while the people living through it were stuck in the same shelters, the same cycles, getting paid nothing.
So we built something different. We hire people experiencing homelessness, train them to federal HAZWOPER standards — the same certification used for industrial cleanup and oil spill response — and pay them weekly wages while we walk them into stable housing.
Sanitize Uplift is a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible nonprofit. Our books are open, our crews are real, and our model is built to scale to other cities as soon as we prove it here.
This $30 ask is the simplest version of what we're asking: if 1% of LA helps once, we change what the city looks like — starting this month.
Tax-deductible. Zero platform fees. Every dollar goes to the work.
